| Aim: | To create a notebook wrapper design using fountain filling and pattern filling tools. |

| Procedure | |
| 1) | Open Inkscape. |
| 2) | Open File->Document Properties. Set width and Height. |
| 3) | Insert rectangle from Left panel. Open Object->Fill and Stroke dialog. |
| 4) | Fill Pattern and set color option. |
| 5) | Add Text and Symbols as per design. |
| 6) | Use symbols from left panel and create a pattern. |
| 7) | Open Object->Pattern->Objects to Pattern Menu to create a new pattern. |
| 8) | Insert new Shape. Open Objectïƒ Fill and Stroke dialog. |
| 9) | Choose Pattern Fill and select created pattern. |
| 10) | Select Edit Paths by Nodes from Left Tool Panel and adjust the patterns on the object. |
| 11) | Export the created design as PNG. |
